“Protected to Serve: California SB 634

Faith in Action, Backed by Law”

When we serve the hungry, clothe the cold, and care for the forgotten, we walk in obedience to God — and under the full protection of California law.

Senate Bill 634 (Chapter 521, Statutes of 2025) ensures that no city, county, or district can penalize anyone for providing food, water, blankets, hygiene items, or other basic survival support to those experiencing homelessness.

This page exists as a resource for servants of Christ — individuals, ministries, and communities who bring light to the streets. You are not alone, and you are protected by law to do what is right in the eyes of God.
